Full Moon at Green Arch Observatory
Tonight's Full Moon appearing with the jolly planet Jupiter has inspired one of my 'observatory' drawings (Prismacolor oil pencils and Rexel Derwent watercolours.)
To read why this Full Moon actually isn't a Blue Moon as some have called it read NPR's Blue Moon? article or listen to the broadcast from this morning.

Hey Jude,
I thot I heard/saw (on radio or tv, was it npr?) that there are an older and a younger definition for "blue moon" the older being the seasonal, and the more modern being the two full moons in one calendar month.
I always loved the song.
Peace,
Laurie
