Cosmic Persona Designs returns! Or can it?

Today is Friday August 19, 2022 and I'm in process of reviving Cosmic Persona Designs to a spot in the Blogger pantheon of art blogs - if possible.

Therefore, it seems that a fresh publish of a drawing may be necessary so I've chosen a descriptive image, A Mask Beyond, for your kind consideration!

Browse more drawings in my Jude Cowell Art Portofolio where images decorating items such as wall art, coffee mugs, pillows, and greeting cards may be ordered at your leisure!

New! A Portrait of Aubrey

It's A Portrait of Aubrey for you!

'Aubrey' is inspired by past drawings that once filled my now-shuttered art gallery Cosmic Persona Designs. I miss the gallery, its 'Mask Art' and other imprints such as Cosmic Lilith Art, Boudoir Blossoms, and Chiffonery Art by Jude Cowell.

C'est la vie!

Masks as Art ~ Blue Masks

As a mask-as-art-theme lover myself, I find it impossible to rave enough over what I just discovered, so I simply say that you must rush yourself over to check out the progress of Jesse's Mask Project without the slightest hesitation or delay.

They're phantastic and blue!

Mask of the Cosmos, a drawing's image previously published here and elsewhere. No, it isn't The Art of Jesse but only my own, because that is what I had on hand and in file, and because masks are the theme of this post!

Were that there were more Art Masks in the world and much fewer of the psychological kind....

A Large Disappointed Audience

Here is a full view of A Large Disappointed Audience, a drawing in honor of the Sabian Symbol for '28 Aries.'

In his book, The Sabian Symbols in Astrology, Dr. Marc Edmund Jones gives this degree as...

...the transiency of the rewards in a life taken too literally and narrowly in its more superficial terms. Implicit in the reversed symbolism is the disillusionment that comes when an individual learns that he cannot depend on the applause of his fellows, or make the momentary mood of the masses any proper guide for the values he should pursue.

There is here the call to a selfhood which can rest secure in its own creative potentiality, catering to nothing exterior to itself.

The keyword is: DISJUNCTION...

positive manifestation: complete spiritual independence;

negative/unconscious/shadow side: a destructive assimilation of the self to every defeat or frustration of human kind.

To which I would add: the show must go on!
