Silverbelly: BP-Gulf Oil leak now capped!

Image
Oh look! A little Silverbelly has floated in from Dreamyfish Art to Secret Moon Art to crow a bit - well, to glub, actually - over today's capping of the BP oil gusher in the Gulf of Mexico! Oil is now longer flowing as of BP's efforts today so let's hope the oil keeps not flowing, shall we? Woot! Then perhaps my faith in the flavor of the July 11, 2010 Solar Eclipse isn't completely misplaced even though today's success (coming a mere 4 days after the Eclipse!) is temporary with BP saying they plan to 'plug' the well in August, which is meant to be a more permanent solution than today's 'tight-fitting' cap. Because... If this entire Capitol Hill charade with BP, Transocean, and Halliburton execs (lined up like little penguins quacking out of both sides of their bills about how they don't-know-can't-say-wait-and-see) is really about BP filing for bankruptcy and skirting their responsibilities while making off like racoons, then I, for one, will be very very cross...no, enraged to the point of complete snitdom at the oil in...
