AI does Hazy Moon and Twinkling Stars!

Yes, I'm still trying to get used to nightcafe's AI art creation features. Here's my second-day effort, Hazy Moon and Twinkling Stars. Hope you like it!

Then why don't you join the fun at NightCafe? You might like it, too!

Now here's one of my ~real~ drawings created with Prismacolor oil pencils held in my own hand, a full view of Golden Chanterelles in Moonlight:

Blue Trumpet Flower in Moonlight

Totally made this up--to my knowledge there are no such things as Blue Trumpet Flowers, but there is moonlight and my imagination.

Blue Trumpet Flower by jude cowell 2008 Use only by express permission of artist.

Which reminds me...I heard that the Hollywood writers' strike may be ending soon which is good because I want to see more episodes of my favorite new show: Moonlight. I'm not a fan of the vampire normally but a humanitarian vampire is a difficult paradox to ignore!

~:~

Yes, Moonlight came back from the writers' strike but was cancelled at the end of its run - which grumped me up considerably. Anti-kudos to CBS. :-(

Misty Night v2

The background is coming into focus now...is this what you envisioned? (see previous image) It may not be the great green gobs of granulated gopher guts that you imagined, dunno...but it'll have to do.

Now! should a fairy pop out of the bushes...or not? Either way is fine with me but you know that sometimes fairies insinuate themselves unbidden into my drawings and I know of no remedy for it.

Let me know what you think by emailing to judecowell@gmail dot com for I would like to finish this drawing before the cows come home. They'll be tired and grumpy.

Primula vialii in Moonlight

This Primrose, Primula viallii is a hardy and deciduous perennial which forms rosettes of somewhat hairy, toothed leaves over which bloom poker-like spikes of tubular flowers that are crimson when in bud but later open to violet-purple in summer (it's double L in 'viallii'...sorry, but if I change the post title it'll mess with the link.)

Neutral to acid soil in partial shade for these little ladies, please!

The fairy just showed up unannounced and unbidden...you may have to click to enlarge to see her there.

You'll find new art uploaded at Cosmic Persona Designs for your personal viewing pleasure...

Veratrum nigrum

Here's a partial version of my rendering of this lovely perennial with the 'fini version' to be uploaded soon. Let's make do 'til then.

Veratrum's berries range in shades of red-brown to black with leafish foliage that's quite lush, as you can see. The usual Silvery Tree Path is in the background. Silvery Tree Path is my first-ever dummy book created for children.

My second offering, Pattillo Armadillo and the Dream of Green was requested to attend an audience at Little, Brown in NYC and made the trip up North and back South to Georgia just fine. But no contract was clutched between his grabby claws yet he was gratified to interview about his Hero's Journey within the walls of such a prestigious and established publishing house.

Lone Critter, did you navigate here from my pages at Gather.com? If so, please leave a comment so I'll know you were about the place, okee dokee?

Else how will I ever know? All attributions are appreciated as well and Link Trades are welcome.
